Tennis
Are you looking for a tennis court where you can enjoy playing your favourite sport? Find out everything you need to know to play tennis in Montréal’s parks.
In warm weather, you can enjoy playing casual tennis in Montréal’s parks. In cold weather, there are indoor courts in some municipal parks and sports centres. In some cases, there may be a fee, but many courts are free of charge to Loisirs cardholders, while others are free to anyone.
Outdoor courts are available from the beginning of May to mid-October, depending on weather conditions.
Open tennis
Many tennis courts are available without a reservation and free of charge in municipal parks.
To make sure that the courts are shared fairly without reservations, if other people want to play, you must leave the courts at set times.
Tennis court reservation
To play on certain tennis courts, you must reserve your playing time before arriving at the court. To reserve a court, you may need a Loisirs card.
Tennis classes
Tennis classes are available for beginners or to refine your technique. Visit the loisirs.montreal.ca platform to find classes being offered near you.
Ball machines are prohibited on all municipal tennis courts.
