The Service de la culture manages the city libraries, cultural festivals and events, recreation, amateur artistic practice, public art and the film/television industry.
Mission
The mission of the Service de la culture is to promote access to arts and culture for everyone and to enrich Montrealers’ experience of arts and culture in all borough’s and the Quartier des spectacles (QDS). This locally focused culture is expressed through a spirit of inclusion and diversity as well as an ecological transition perspective.

- Addresses of libraries

- Municipal collection of works of public art
- Support program for artists and arts and culture organizations
