Report an animal that is injured or in danger

If you find a pet or a wild animal that is injured, or if you see that an animal is being abused or is in danger, here is how to report it.

Avoid approaching or touching, with your bare hands, an animal that is injured or in danger.

Pets or wild animals 

Contact Proanima: 514-379-2525. 

If the dead animal is a coyote, you must report it to the city.  

Birds of prey 

If you find a dead eagle, falcon, buzzard, sparrowhawk, owl or barn owl, visit the Union québécoise de réhabilitation des oiseaux de proie Web site.

Act of cruelty towards an animal

Animal suffocating inside a vehicle

Call 911.
