Pre-assessment

Our team will conduct a pre-assessment of changes to signage that involve:

  • Adding a compulsory stop sign
  • Adding a pedestrian passageway
  • Changing the traffic direction of a street
  • Speed or transit issues on a street
  • A new street design

This pre-assessment is based on criteria including the Ministère des transports du Québec (MTQ)’s standards and the Vision Zero plan (zero deaths and serious accidents).

Traffic committee

Our team’s recommendations will then be submitted to the traffic committee, which will decide whether to approve the change.
