Mission

Montréal’s Direction générale (city manager’s office), which is under the authority of the city’s executive committee, manages all of Montréal’s administrative activities, sets action priorities, supports the decision-making process of political parties and implements their decisions

Priority actions in 2023

  • Continue the implementation of theMontréal 2030 strategic plan
  • Undertake a review of the city’s programs and activities to ensure they are aligned with this strategic plan
  • Continue the city manager’s tour of administrative units as well as regular and effective communication with all city staff
